1. Consumers’ right of cancellation

(A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are primarily unrelated to either their commercial or their own independent professional activities.)

Right of cancellation

You are entitled to cancel this agreement within fourteen days without giving any reasons.

The cooling-off period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party appointed by you, who is not a carrier, took possession of the last items of merchandise.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us Meindl Bekleidung GmbH & Co.KG, Dorfplatz 8-10, D-83417 Kirchanschöring, email address: support-fashion@meindl.de, tel. +49 8685 / 985-0) in a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent in the post, by fax or by email) of your decision to cancel this agreement. You may use the attached specimen cancellation form, but this is not essential.

To adhere to the cooling-off period, it is sufficient to send us notice that you are exercising your right of cancellation before the cooling-off period has elapsed.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this agreement we shall, without delay and no later than fourteen days from the date on which we receive your notice of cancellation of this agreement, repay to you all payments that we have received from you, including the delivery costs (apart from any additional costs that result from you selecting a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery that we offer). We shall make this repayment using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction unless we have expressly agreed something different with you; in no case will any compensation be paid to you on account of this repayment. We may refuse the repayment until we have received the merchandise back or until you have furnished proof that you have sent the merchandise back, whichever is the earlier.

You must send back or return the merchandise to us without delay and no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us that you are cancelling this agreement. You will have adhered to this period if you send the merchandise before the fourteen-day period has elapsed. You will bear the direct costs of returning the merchandise. You will only have to pay for any deterioration of the merchandise if such deterioration is attributable to your handling of the merchandise in way that was not necessary in order to check the condition, properties, or functionality of the merchandise.

Grounds for exclusion or expiry
There is no right of cancellation for contracts
– to supply merchandise that is not prefabricated and the manufacturing of which requires an individual selection or determination by the consumer, or which is uniquely tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

2. Returns

Products that you purchase from us may be sent back to us within 14 days of receipt of the merchandise, provided that the merchandise is complete and in the same condition as at the time of receipt and provided that none of the reasons for exclusion listed below applies.

Merchandise for which there is no statutory right of cancellation can also not be returned under the return guarantee. The same applies to merchandise for which the statutory right of cancellation had already lapsed at the time of return before expiry of the cooling-off period. Possible grounds for exclusion or expiry for the acquired product are given in the abovementioned cancellation policy under “Grounds for exclusion or expiry.”

Customised merchandise may not be returned.
The merchandise should be sent back to the address given in the above cancellation policy. You will have adhered to this returns period if you send the merchandise before the returns period has elapsed.

The purchaser will bear the direct costs of returning the merchandise. The costs are estimated to be no more than around EUR 2,500 within Europe. The shipping or transport costs / return costs for third countries are not affected by the upper limit since these costs must be determined separately.

If the merchandise cannot be sent back with one of our shipping service providers due to their high quality, please contact us and we will handle the return shipment.

In all cases you will bear the transport risk for the return shipment. This right of return does not limit your statutory rights and thus not your right of cancellation.
