Funktion, die sich dem Leben anpasst. Die Field Jacket war nie nur eine Frage der Ästhetik, sondern vor allem der Funktionalität: langlebig, vielseitig und gemacht für das, was vor einem liegt. Diese Idee stand am Anfang unserer Yukon Field Jacket – nicht als Replik, sondern als Weiterentwicklung ihres ursprünglichen Gedankens.
Was sie besonders macht, beginnt beim Leder. Das Hirschleder wird nach traditioneller sämischer Art gegerbt – einem jahrhundertealten Handwerk, bei dem Zeit, Erfahrung und viel Handarbeit das Material prägen. Anschließend wird jede Jacke von Hand behandelt und erhält so ihre individuelle, lebendige Patina. Keine gleicht der anderen – jede ist ein Unikat.
Auch in ihren Details folgt die Yukon Field ihrer ursprünglichen Funktion: Zwei großzügige Blasebalgtaschen und zwei Pattentaschen bieten Platz für alles, was unterwegs griffbereit sein soll. Im Inneren ergänzen eine Patronentasche und zwei weitere Innentaschen die durchdachte Aufteilung. Ein fein gelasertes Wappen am Unterkragen setzt einen besonderen Akzent und wird erst sichtbar, wenn der Kragen aufgeschlagen wird.
Der markante Cordkragen und ausgewählte Canvasdetails setzen natürliche Kontraste zum Hirschleder und verbinden den ursprünglichen Charakter der Field Jacket mit einer modernen, zeitlosen Ästhetik.
Eine Jacke für viele Jahre. Für Wege, die geplant sind, und solche, die es nicht sind. Und vielleicht genau deshalb eine, die irgendwann selbst zum Erbstück wird.

Functionality that adapts to life. The field jacket has never been merely a matter of aesthetics, but above all of functionality: durable, versatile and made for whatever lies ahead. This idea was the starting point for our Yukon Field Jacket – not as a replica, but as a further development of its original concept.
What makes it special starts with the leather. The deerskin is tanned using traditional Sami methods – a centuries-old craft in which time, experience and a great deal of manual labour shape the material. Each jacket is then treated by hand, giving it its own individual, vibrant patina. No two are alike – each one is unique.
Even in its details, the Yukon Field remains true to its original function: two generous bellows pockets and two flap pockets provide space for everything you need to keep to hand whilst on the move. Inside, a cartridge pocket and two further inner pockets complement the well-thought-out layout. A finely laser-cut coat of arms on the underside of the collar adds a special touch and only becomes visible when the collar is turned up.
The striking corduroy collar and selected canvas details create natural contrasts with the deerskin, combining the original character of the field jacket with a modern, timeless aesthetic.
A jacket to last for many years. For journeys that are planned, and those that aren’t. And perhaps that is precisely why it will one day become an heirloom in its own right.
