One jacket, many lives.
Functionality that adapts to life. The field jacket has never been merely a matter of aesthetics, but above all of functionality: durable, versatile and made for whatever lies ahead. This idea was the starting point for our Yukon Field Jacket – not as a replica, but as a further development of its original concept.
What makes it special starts with the leather. The deerskin is tanned using traditional Sami methods – a centuries-old craft in which time, experience and a great deal of manual labour shape the material. Each jacket is then treated by hand, giving it its own individual, vibrant patina. No two are alike – each one is unique.
Even in its details, the Yukon Field remains true to its original function: two generous bellows pockets and two flap pockets provide space for everything you need to keep to hand whilst on the move. Inside, a cartridge pocket and two further inner pockets complement the well-thought-out layout. A finely laser-cut coat of arms on the underside of the collar adds a special touch and only becomes visible when the collar is turned up.
The striking corduroy collar and selected canvas details create natural contrasts with the deerskin, combining the original character of the field jacket with a modern, timeless aesthetic.
A jacket to last for many years. For journeys that are planned, and those that aren’t. And perhaps that is precisely why it will one day become an heirloom in its own right.
